ーーーーAny recent memories of crying?
Ryutaro: Movies. Most recently over "My Friend Forever [The Cure]." I was crying every 30 minutes, and I saw the final scene twice and cried both times (laugh). Then there's "New Cinema Paradise [Cinema Paradiso]." That made me feel at peace and I cried!
Akira: I watched “Odoru Daisousasen” in the movie theater and cried.
Ryutaro: Ah, I went to see that with you and cried.
Akira: Then I saw “Forrest Gump” on TV and cried again. I thought “Gump, he’s a good guy!” (laugh)
Ryutaro: We often go to see movies together, and even though both of us end up crying, Akira kun has these huge eyeballs that the tears fall from and somehow I end up feeling uncomfortable! (laugh)
Akira: I’m deeply moved! (laugh)
Ryutaro: Despite crying together, when I see Akira kun’s face, I burst out laughing.
ーーーー(laugh) You aren’t grade school kids.
Ryutaro: I’m easily moved to tears anyway! Even though I don’t understand at all why I cry when I drink, and during lives, by the time I realize it, I’m crying. But crying is a natural thing, so I don’t really think things like “You’re a man so don’t cry!!” I read Doraemon’s “Emotion volume” on the Shinkansen and started crying out loud (laugh)
Akira: Saying things like “Goodbye~, Doraemon.” (laugh) The instant you step on.
Tadashi: Becoming one with Nobita (laugh). I haven’t cried in about half a year. Let’s say I have an emotion meter, well since its needle doesn’t move much, I’m the type who doesn’t really cry! I’m deeply moved, but I sympathize with other people without feeling things like sadness and irritation, so the tears just don’t come out. But on the tour earlier, I got frustrated and cried.
ーーーーDo you cry out of frustration a lot?
Tadashi: Yeaahh, for example, even though it’s good to be opposed to saying “What are you talking about!?” to people, in relation to speaking, I feel like I usually say, “Ahh, it’s really that way. I’m such a useless person. Dammit!” But I seldom cry.
Takashi: There hasn’t been any recent instances for me. Yeah. Recently I’ll go beyond tears and end up standing on a hill of despair (laugh).
Ryutaro: What’s up!? (laugh) In the past, Takashi kun would often play his drums in the studio while he was crying! And said things like “Ya--, this jam (session) was good, huh~?” (laugh)
Takashi: I haven’t cried since beginning the year. Even though I tend to drink so much that I become miserable and cry (laugh). Then when the food I eat didn’t agree with me, I felt miserable and cried.
Tadashi: Ahh, right.
Takashi: It was because I had eaten that orange jelly on the day of our radio recording (laugh).

I can’t find the one I thought had Puppet Show on it, but I found an interview with Ryuutarou and Akira talking about always seeing movies together and crying. Literally takes up half a page. But it’s amusing. Especially the fact that Akira had seen Forrest Gump (and subsequently cried). I’ll…
